Phoebe Gulsen is a senior and is Editor-in-Chief of the Carlmont Journalism Scotcenter program. She produces mainly human interest and social justice videos, in hopes of providing a deeper story through local news. Gulsen is a graduate of the 2021 Boston University Summer Journalism Institute and over the past three years, has earned national and international awards for her work. She takes part in several extra-curricular activities, including advanced choir, varsity lacrosse, and philanthropy work through National Charity League.

Ruya Yaman is a senior at Carlmont High School who loves to tell stories and capture meaningful moments. As a part of the broadcast team, she aims to shine a light on important topics through video and podcast production. Aside from journalism, Ruya spends her time singing in Carlmont’s Chamber Choir, working behind-the-scenes as the president of Carlmont’s Technical Theatre Association, and crafting a local literary magazine, All That's Lit to Print, as the co-editor-in-chief.
