    I think the reason is that the overall concept of Fortnite is very well appreciated by most of the teen gamer nowadays. Apart from the graphics and interface, the enjoyment they find when they play the game really attracts the users. And one more thing, most of the features of Fortnite are not present in all video games like this. So this is why it is popular up to date.
